hermes-automation is a private, single-user automation tool operated by its owner on a personal server. It is not offered as a public service and has exactly one authorised user.

What it accesses

• Google Sheets — spreadsheets the owner creates or explicitly shares with the tool, so it can read and write cell values.
• Google Drive (file-specific) — only files the tool itself creates, so it can clean them up. It cannot see or open any other file in the owner's Drive.
• Google Docs — documents the owner creates or shares with the tool, to read and append text.
• Google Apps Script — projects the owner owns, to read, update and deploy script versions.
• Basic account identity (email address and display name) to confirm which account is authorising the tool.

What it does with the data

Data is used only to perform the automation the owner asks for: reading sheet ranges, writing computed values, creating documents, and deploying script changes. Nothing is used for advertising, profiling, analytics or training.

Storage and retention

OAuth credentials are stored on the owner's own server in files readable only by the owner's operating-system account (mode 600). Spreadsheet and document content is not copied or retained beyond what is needed to complete a task; no backups of Google content are kept by the tool.

Sharing

No data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties. The tool sends requests only to Google APIs and to infrastructure the owner operates.

Revoking access

The owner can revoke the tool's access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately invalidates its stored credentials. Locally, the credential file is deleted at the same time.
